Description: 

The “2024 Roadway Improvement Program Contract II” consists of resurfacing of the following roadways, in the City of Camden, Camden County, New Jersey:

The work for this project includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the following major work items:


1. Milling, 3” or less, of the existing asphalt surface, where indicated.
2. Overlay of milled bituminous asphalt surface with hot mix asphalt 12.5 M 64 surface course, 2” thick, as directed.
3. Hot mix asphalt pavement repair, if and where directed.
4. Removal and replacement of 7”x8”x18” concrete vertical curb, as directed.
5. Installation of new inlets, type “A”, with inlet traps, where indicated.
6. Installation of curb pieces, and bicycle safe grates, as directed.
7. Resetting of manholes/ inlets using existing or new casting, and resetting of vents/valve boxes using existing or new casting, as directed.
8. Removal and replacement of concrete driveway, reinforced 6” thick, and concrete sidewalk, 5” thick as directed.
9. Installation of ADA compliant curb ramps, as directed
10. Installation of pavement markings, as directed.
