Description: 

The City of Camden (“City”) desires to appoint an attorney or firm to conduct an investigation into the source or sources of 1, 4-Dioxane chemicals in the City water supply system.  1, 4-Dioxane have been associated with a variety of adverse health effects but it has not been definitely established that 1, 4-Dioxane caused these effects.  No federal or New Jersey-specific drinking water standard (or maximum contaminant level, MCL) has been established for 1, 4-dioxane.
