The “2023 Roadway Improvement Program Contract II” consists of the resurfacing of various streets to include, but is not necessarily limited to, the following major work 
items:
1. Milling, 2” deep, of the existing asphalt surface within the limits indicated on the location 
map and as directed.
2. Hot Mix Asphalt Pavement Repair, If and Where Directed.
3. Sealing of Joints in Concrete Pavement, where applicable. 
4. Removal and replacement of 7”x8”x18” Concrete Vertical Curb, as directed.
5. Installation of granite curb, as directed.
6. Resetting of granite curb and slate curb, as directed.
7. Installation of inlets, type “A”, type “B”, and type “E”, using new or existing castings, as 
directed.
8. Installation of curb pieces, and bicycle safe grates, as directed.
9. Resetting of manholes using existing or new casting, and resetting of vents/valve boxes, 
as directed.
10. Removal and replacement of Concrete Driveway, Reinforced, 6” Thick, and Concrete 
Sidewalk, 5” Thick as directed.
11. Installation of ADA compliant curb ramps, as directed.
12. Installation of and/or resetting of brick pavers, as directed.
13. Overlay of milled bituminous asphalt surface with Hot Mix Asphalt 12.5 M 64 Surface 
Course, 2” Thick, as directed.
14. Installation of pavement markings, as directed.
